Depending on how you use Fare, you may provide certain information directly.
When you manually add a subscription, you may enter information such as subscription or service name, plan name, price, billing cycle, renewal date, trial end date, payment note, cancellation-related notes, and status, such as active, trial, paused, or canceled.
This information is entered by you. Fare does not independently verify whether the information is accurate. By default, this subscription information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to use export, sharing, support, account, or Cloud Backup features.
Fare may store app preferences such as appearance mode, selected currency display, theme preference, app icon preference, notification settings, haptics preference, widget layout, favorites, whether you completed onboarding, and app-use timestamps such as first-opened date.
If you choose to export your Fare data, Fare may create a JSON backup file containing your saved subscriptions and app preferences. You control where that file is shared or stored. Anyone with access to your exported backup may be able to view the information inside it.
If you choose to sign in with Apple, Fare may receive an account identifier and email address if Apple provides one. Fare uses this account state to connect account-based features such as Cloud Backup. Fare does not store Apple identity tokens or authorization codes in local app storage.
If you use Fare+ Cloud Backup, Fare may upload saved subscriptions, favorites, timeline events, widget layout, settings, notification preferences, app theme, app icon, haptics preference, currency preference, and first-opened date to our cloud infrastructure so you can back up or restore your Fare data.
If you use paid features, Fare may store limited purchase state such as whether Fare+ or Lifetime Ad-Free is active. Payment processing is handled by App Store and RevenueCat systems, not by Fare directly.
If you use Subscription Requests, Fare may open a prefilled email to support. The message content is controlled by you before sending and may include the brand, website, category, notes, or other details you choose to provide.
If you contact us by email, through a support form, or by another communication channel, we may collect your name, email address, message content, screenshots or files you choose to send, and support history.
